A former JPMorgan banker who accused his supervisor of sexual abuse has filed new court documents defending his claims while acknowledging he initially obscured certain details out of fear of workplace retaliation.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the banker is responding to accusations from Lorna Hajdini, the JPMorgan executive he sued, who alleged he fabricated his claims as part of a scheme for financial gain. Hajdini pointed to the banker's activity on an online legal-advice website where he appeared to describe similar misconduct involving drugging, sexual assault, and rape by a Morgan Stanley supervisor rather than a JPMorgan executive.
The banker acknowledges using the legal-advice site and attributing his allegations to Morgan Stanley, but maintains he was actually describing his alleged experiences with Hajdini at JPMorgan. He states he deliberately camouflaged the details because he feared workplace retaliation if his true employer were identified.
Hajdini has also challenged the banker's use of bereavement leave, alleging he falsely claimed his father had died. In the new filing, the banker admits his biological father was alive at the time but denies any impropriety regarding his time away from work.
Despite these admissions, the former employee is not retreating from his primary allegations. He maintains that his May 2025 internal complaint to JPMorgan detailed race and gender discrimination along with what he characterizes as a pattern of abhorrent sexual abuse by Hajdini. His lawsuit alleges she forced him to participate in non-consensual and humiliating sex acts.
The banker states that other individuals have submitted statements corroborating his claims. He also addresses Hajdini's charitable activities, arguing that philanthropic work does not preclude someone from committing sexual harassment or assault.
Earlier this month, Hajdini filed a countersuit against the banker for defamation and libel. In her filing, she accused him of constructing a salacious narrative designed to destroy her reputation and extract millions of dollars from both her and JPMorgan. Hajdini has categorically denied all allegations made against her.
The legal battle represents a high-profile workplace harassment case involving a major financial institution, with both parties presenting sharply contrasting accounts of events. The case continues to unfold in court as both sides present evidence supporting their respective positions.
