Kesha Surrenders Home to Persistent Raccoon Intruder

Pop singer Kesha found herself in an unexpected standoff with a feral raccoon that refused to leave her home, documenting the encounter on social media as her attempts to remove the animal proved unsuccessful.

The 39-year-old artist shared footage on her Instagram Story on Monday, July 20, showing the wild animal entering her residence through a cracked window. Despite repeated efforts to scare the creature away, Kesha ultimately conceded the battle to her uninvited guest.

The video captured Kesha's escalating attempts to remove the raccoon, which had positioned itself on her window sill with its head poking through the window's opening. Her initial approach was polite but firm.

"Sir, no … no raccoons in the house," she said in the footage. "I'm scared of you."

As the animal remained unmoved by her verbal warnings, Kesha intensified her efforts, making tsking noises and raising her voice.

"No! Get out of the house," she commanded. "Out of the house, go! You're very cute, go, get away, go."

The raccoon's refusal to budge led Kesha to temporarily retreat, closing a door between herself and the persistent intruder. However, the animal continued its journey into the house, visible through the windows as Kesha watched from the other side.

"Hey! Nuh uh, go! Get! Hey! You go away!" she shouted through the barrier. "Get out of the house! Go!"

The "Tik Tok" singer attempted to assert dominance over the situation, declaring herself frightening in hopes of intimidating the animal into leaving.

"Go! I am scary! Go away! Go!" she exclaimed. "Dude, come on. Don't be psychotic."

In what appeared to be a deliberate act of defiance, the raccoon responded to Kesha's escalating efforts by moving closer rather than retreating.

"No! Now you're insane. You're actually crazy, I am scary. Go!" she said. "I am so scary. Get away! F**king s**t! Go it was funny and cute now you gotta go."

After the prolonged standoff yielded no results, Kesha officially surrendered her home to the determined creature.

"Well, I guess f***king move in," she conceded.

The singer has not posted any updates regarding the status of her new furry tenant since the initial video. The raccoon may have extended time in the residence, as Kesha is currently in the middle of her Freedom Tour, which began in May.

The tour is currently on break following a performance in Québec City last week. Kesha is scheduled to return to the stage in Shakopee, Minnesota on Monday, August 3, with additional performances planned for Dallas, Charlotte, Grand Rapids, and other locations before the Freedom Tour concludes at the end of August.
