San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle has offered new insights into Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's high-profile wedding, describing the July 3 ceremony at Madison Square Garden as a memorable celebration that brought together family members and close friends.
During an appearance on the Thursday, July 23, episode of the "Unbuttoned" podcast, the 32-year-old professional athlete reflected on his experience attending what has been characterized as one of the year's most notable celebrity weddings.
"The entire thing was fantastic," Kittle told podcast host Chris Simms, speaking to Us Weekly. "I had so much fun."
The wedding became a family occasion for the Kittle household, with George accompanied by his wife Claire, his parents Bruce and Jan, and Claire's mother Shelly. The extended family invitations stemmed from relationships developed through Tight End University, where Swift and Kelce had previously connected with the Kittle family members.
"Travis likes Bruce a lot, but then the moms got invited because of Tight End U last year, where they hung out with Taylor for a long time, and she just really liked them," Kittle explained, speaking to Us Weekly. "So that was kind of fun to have like a family outing at Madison Square Garden."
The ceremony at the renowned New York City venue drew a star-studded guest list. Both Swift and Kelce wore custom designs created specifically for the occasion by Christian Dior Haute Couture, with Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women's, Men's and Haute Couture Collections, collaborating closely with the couple on their wedding attire.
According to a press release from Swift's representative, the wedding marked Anderson's first couture wedding dress designed for a world-renowned celebrity. The couple's footwear was custom made by Christian Louboutin, and Swift accessorized with Cartier jewelry.
Following the ceremony, George and Claire Kittle posted a congratulatory message to the newlyweds via Instagram on July 5. Their tribute incorporated a reference to Swift's own description of Kelce from her appearance on his "New Heights" podcast in August 2025.
"It was a family affair. Congratulations on finding your exclamation point!" the Kittles wrote on social media. "JusT&T Married ❤️. We love y'all!"
The message referenced Swift's characterization of her now-husband during the podcast episode, where she described Kelce's personality in vivid terms.
"Travis, he's just a vibe booster in everyone's life that he's in," Swift said during the August 2025 podcast appearance. "He's, like, a human exclamation point. He's like when you take a picture on your phone and you push the 'enhance color' button, that's what you do to every text."
The wedding represents a significant milestone for the Grammy-winning artist and the NFL player, whose relationship has attracted substantial public attention since becoming public knowledge.
