Reality TV Star Reports Robbery During French Vacation

A former cast member of The Real Housewives of Miami has disclosed that she was allegedly robbed while vacationing in France, sharing details of the incident with her social media followers on Saturday, August 1.

Stephanie Shojaee, 41, posted to her Instagram Story about the alleged theft, which she said occurred during her stay in the South of France. The reality television personality documented the experience through multiple posts, beginning with images from the start of her trip aboard a private aircraft.

"Cannes and Saint-Tropez are great … until it's your turn to get robbed," Shojaee wrote in her initial post, according to Us Weekly.

The incident reportedly took place on the second day of her vacation. After displaying photographs of her hotel accommodations, Shojaee informed her followers that the robbery had significantly impacted her trip.

"Robbery happened day 2!! South of France is just not safe. I wanted to leave. But I made the best of it," she stated, per Us Weekly.

Among the materials Shojaee shared was security camera footage that appeared to capture two masked individuals outside her rental villa during nighttime hours. She indicated that the alleged perpetrators entered her room and took items from her closet, including merchandise from Shoma Group, her real estate company.

"Come to the South of France, they said. Rent a villa, they said. It was a great idea, they said," Shojaee wrote, according to Us Weekly. "Oh look! There goes my stuff! And they even took half [of] my [real estate company Shoma Group] merch. WTF!!!"

In subsequent posts, Shojaee described the psychological impact of the alleged break-in, stating that the masked individuals "came into my room and went shopping in my closet," per Us Weekly.

"I woke up to this every day but scared … Worth it? Not really," she added, according to Us Weekly.

Shojaee had brought her dog Pebbles on the vacation, and the pet was not harmed during the incident. She made light of the situation in one post, noting that her dog "barks at the wind but not at people taking all my stuff," Us Weekly reported.

As of Saturday, Shojaee had not provided additional information about the alleged robbery or indicated whether she had filed a police report with French authorities.

Shojaee appeared on The Real Housewives of Miami during its seventh season in 2025. The show was placed on pause by Bravo in March following the completion of that season, marking the second time the Miami-based franchise has been shelved. The series previously went on hiatus from 2013 to 2021.

Executive producer Andy Cohen addressed the decision in March, clarifying that the pause was not his choice. The seventh season concluded in October 2025 with a three-part reunion special.
