Swift's Watch Hill Weekend: Bachelorette Party Speculation Intensifies

The speculation surrounding Taylor Swift's activities in Watch Hill this weekend has taken a new direction, with mounting evidence pointing toward a bachelorette party rather than a wedding ceremony at her Rhode Island estate.

According to TMZ, which obtained photographs on Friday showing a massive tent on the Ocean House property adjacent to Swift's beachfront mansion, the structure contains little more than a large wooden dance floor. Notably absent are tables, place settings, or other typical wedding reception preparations.

Two sources familiar with the weekend's plans told TMZ that Swift is not hosting an event at Ocean House. Instead, both sources indicated the weekend appears to be a bachelorette-style gathering centered around Swift and her closest friends.

The outlet also learned that a wedding rehearsal that took place at Ocean House on Friday was for a different couple entirely. That wedding, scheduled for Saturday, is expected to host approximately 220 guests and will include a fireworks display, according to permits.

Swift's longtime best friend, Abigail Anderson, has been spotted around the property in recent days, along with several other women. Security presence around the estate has notably increased, adding to the intrigue surrounding the weekend's activities.

Further supporting the bachelorette party theory, Travis Kelce was recently observed in Los Angeles with several male friends, prompting speculation that the couple may be celebrating separately this weekend in traditional bachelor and bachelorette party fashion.

The mother of the bride for Saturday's Ocean House wedding, a New York City couple, addressed the speculation directly. "I wish Taylor Swift was here, but she's not," she told TMZ, adding that she has heard nothing about Swift getting married this weekend or at Ocean House.

The Watch Hill community has been abuzz with activity as the weekend unfolds, with heightened security and celebrity sightings fueling continued speculation about what exactly is transpiring at Swift's seaside property. Whether the gathering is indeed a pre-wedding celebration or simply a reunion of close friends remains unconfirmed by Swift's representatives.
