Travis Kelce demonstrated his sense of humor regarding the intense public interest surrounding his impending nuptials to Taylor Swift, responding to a comedic AI-generated wedding photograph shared on social media.
On Thursday, July 2, comedian Bert Kreischer posted an artificial intelligence-created image to his Instagram account featuring himself positioned between Swift and Kelce, who appeared in wedding attire. The fabricated photograph showed the high-profile couple smiling toward the camera while Kreischer gazed off to the side.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 36, responded to the humorous post by leaving four crying laughing emojis in the comments section. Kreischer, 53, had captioned the image with a playful reference: "The moment @jason.kelce called me over to the bar for a shot."
The exchange occurred as Kelce and Swift, both 36, reportedly prepare for their wedding ceremony at Madison Square Garden on Friday, July 3. The Grammy-winning artist and the professional football player are expected to host a multi-day celebration in New York City.
According to a source speaking to Us Weekly, the couple provided limited information to their guests regarding the wedding logistics. "Taylor and Travis told guests to be in NYC. No other location was provided," the source revealed. Invitees were instructed to arrive in Manhattan to celebrate the couple on Thursday, July 2, and Friday, July 3. The insider added that the couple is investing substantial resources in the event, noting, "They are spending a lot of money — in the millions."
Multiple media outlets reported that approximately 100 individuals attended the couple's rehearsal dinner on Thursday night. Notable figures spotted in New York City included Selena Gomez, Lena Dunham, Jack Antonoff, and Bradley Cooper, all reportedly in town for the festivities. Additional celebrities observed in Manhattan on Wednesday included Ed Sheeran, Sabrina Carpenter, and Camila Cabello, fueling speculation about their attendance at the wedding.
The couple announced their engagement in August 2025 through a joint Instagram post featuring photographs of Kelce proposing to Swift on bended knee. "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married," the couple captioned the announcement.
Swift later discussed the proposal during an October 2025 appearance on The Graham Norton Show, praising her fiancé's planning abilities. "He really crushed it in surprising me. While we were talking on his podcast, he had a complete garden built out the back of his house to propose in," she said. "He went all out — 10 out of 10."
It remains unclear whether Kreischer received an invitation to the wedding celebration. The comedian's AI-generated post, however, captured the lighthearted spirit surrounding one of the most anticipated celebrity weddings of the year.
